Social Media Integration
Writing Crucible includes AI-powered social media features through our assistant “Cruci”. When you use these features:
- We may access your connected Facebook and Instagram business accounts to post content on your behalf
- We generate and post writing-related content to help promote your work
- We do not store or access your personal social media data beyond what's necessary for posting
- You can disconnect social media accounts at any time
- All social media posts are clearly attributed to Cruci, our AI assistant
Usage Data
Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service. This may include information such as Your Device's Internet Protocol address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that You visit, the time and date of Your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.
Use of Your Personal Data

Facebook and Instagram Integration
Our AI assistant Cruci can connect to your Facebook Business Page and Instagram Business account to:
- Post writing tips, motivational content, and promotional materials
- Respond to comments on your behalf (clearly identified as Cruci)
- Generate custom images and content for your social media presence
- Help build your author platform automatically
Important: We only access the minimum permissions necessary for posting. We do not read your private messages, access personal data, or store information from your social media accounts beyond what's necessary for the posting functionality.
Data Security
The security of Your Personal Data is important to Us. We use industry-standard encryption and security measures to protect your writing projects, account information, and any connected social media credentials. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access, update, or delete your personal information
- Export your writing projects and data
- Disconnect social media integrations at any time
- Opt out of AI-generated social media posts
- Request deletion of your account and all associated data
Data Retention
We retain your writing projects and account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will permanently delete your data within 30 days, except where required by law to retain certain information.
Children's Privacy
Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If You are a parent or guardian and You are aware that Your child has provided Us with Personal Data, please contact Us.
