The Manuscript Editor is where you write and edit your book’s content, one chapter at a time. It provides a full-page writing surface with a focused toolbar and an optional Notes Panel to support reference and planning while you write.

Writing in the Editor
Write directly in the manuscript area. The editor is designed specifically for long-form manuscript writing, with unnecessary distractions removed to help you stay focused.
Your work is automatically saved as you write. There is no manual save button.
Opening the Notes Panel
Use the Notes Panel button in the toolbar to show or hide the panel at any time while you write.
Notes While You Write
The Notes Panel provides contextual reference information related to the chapter you are currently working on. You can keep it open while writing to avoid switching tabs or breaking your writing flow.
